Making Strides GA, Inc. is a behavioral and mental health facility serving various counties throughout the state of Georgia. Making Strides’ mission is to rebuild our communities by strengthening families one family at a time. Making Strides GA, Inc. collaborates closely with the Department of Family and Children Services, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the local schools, and other entities within the community. |
OUR CEOMaking Strides CEO, Kunta Manning, and staff members realize that our nation can only be as healthy as the individuals who reside in it. Therefore, it is our goal to increase each family’s level of functioning to its highest potential through the use of biopsychosocials and other assessments, behavior modification techniques, counseling services, parenting classes, substance abuse counseling and education, psychological evaluations, psychiatric assessments including medication management, and skills training.
Making Strides' staff is committed and operates in a spirit of excellence. The staff members have a combined total of professional experience of over 83 years, and the staff members’ credentials include MD, PsyD, PhD, LPN, RN, LCSW, LPC, Master’s level clinicians, and Paraprofessionals. Core Services - Traditional services that are often provided in a clinic setting. Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) Services - Specialty service used to meet the families where they are and to prevent a client from entering a residential facility or a hospital. |
